As Pastor, I have received that question numerous times. Therefore, let me give you 10 things to pray for for the ministry of Crossroads Baptist Church with Scripture to back up why.  Before I give you the prayer requests, let's remember the three following truths about prayer: We will never see answers to prayer if we won't pray - James 4:2b  "...ye have not, because ye ask not."   How Much More We Have A "How Much More" God! Let me recap a couple messages we recently heard on this most powerful topic.  I. The petitioning of prayer.  We must purpose to ASK of Him in prayer. Matthew 7:7  "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:" II. The proximity of prayer.  We must purpose to be one of the EVERY ONE who asks of Him in prayer.  Matthew 7:8 "For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened."   III. The precision in prayer.  We must realize God is very good at answering SPECIFICS in our prayers to Him. Matthew 7:9-10 "Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?  Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?" IV.   Prayer Makes All Things Possible This morning I awoke at my normal early hour, but getting up at a certain hour doesn't guarantee a strong walk with God...it's only a start. You must purpose to get to "the place of prayer."  As I was gathering my things to head to church, one of my many favorite decorations in my home study caught my attention, and it was the encouragement I needed to kick start my morning. The wall plaque said, "Prayer Makes All Things Possible." (Thus the writing on the picture within this post.) I began to think about the many wonderful answers to prayer God has blessed us with (too many to name), and then God reminded me of the most recent (BIG) answer to prayer He has blessed us with.   Enter Into His Presence Today...not yesterday.          Today...not tomorrow.                   TODAY...we have the privilege of entering into the presence of God! Yes, God is everywhere at all times, but just because He is everywhere around you - doesn't mean that you are entering into His presence and fellowshipping with Him. It's kind of like two people being in the same room. Just because they are in the same room it doesn't mean that they are purposing to talk with each other.   Another Prayer Answered! Another prayer answered! I know Rachel has prayed for this, and I have been too…praise the Lord! There’s a wonderful story behind the provision of this baby grand, and how God orchestrated all this according to His timing!
