  Rejecting The King Rejecting The King We are in a brand new series at Crossroads entitled, "THE KING IS COMING." Yesterday, We revealed three different types of people who rejected King Jesus with the reasons listed underneath each type. Let me introduce them to you, and then provide the link to the sermon that was preached. I. The King was rejected by His  heritage . John 1:1  "He came unto his own, and his own received him not."  The Jews allowed  their own point of view  and  lack of knowledge  to bring them to rejecting King Jesus. II. The King was rejected by  Herod . You can read about this in Matthew 2. Herod allowed his  power ,  position  and  pride  to reject King Jesus. III. The King was rejected by one  hanging  with HIM.
