Did you sit there and do nothing, or did you pick up the pieces? I'm pretty sure that you or someone else picked up the pieces.  Why? Here's a good reason: You didn't want the shards of glass to come back and stab or slice you at a later date. You probably did more than pick up the pieces. You probably vacuumed, wiped, cleaned, scanned over the general location and maybe even vacuumed again! Why? Because you grasp the after affects of leaving glass laying around without even having to step on the broken glass.  In essence: YOU " HANDLE IT. "  The old saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."  BUT - What if there are some broken things in your life? TREAT them as broken glass, and handle each situation through the wisdom of the WORD of GOD.  There are three broken areas of life we need to handle wisel

" Though we know the main emphasis is on happily keeping the command of God and correcting a child for a child's future, we can make the application of having correct vision in other areas of life as well. I ask myself, "What may fall through the cracks of my life's work if I don't create a vision to execute for the glory of God?" God has made me a steward of His work according to His will and Word. I want to redeem the time and pursue His calling with great impact! As a Pastor, each week is a blank slate. I have great opportunities to minister for the glory of God over every horizon. I cause myself to contemplate the quest

Many times, the greatest opportunities to influence an individual's life will come during a situation or after the individual has come through a situation. I call this, " THE AFTER AFFECT ." As Pastor, I have received that question numerous times. Therefore, let me give you 10 things to pray for for the ministry of Crossroads Baptist Church with Scripture to back up why.  Before I give you the prayer requests, let's remember the three following truths about prayer: We will never see answers to prayer if we won't pray - James 4:2b  "...ye have not, because ye ask not." We will never see answers to prayer if we won't pray according to God's will - James 4:3  "Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your own lusts." We will never see answers to prayer if we won't pray in Jesus' Name - John 14:13-14  "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do,
