Day After Easter • 2016

Day After Easter • 2016 Morning, Preacher! It’s the day after Easter in America, and I simply want to thank you… I desire to express my sincere gratitude for every pastor, evangelist, preacher and missionary who stood faithfully yesterday and preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ…I give you a BIG - THANK YOU! I specifically want to thank the Isaiah’s and Jeremiah’s of Easter Sunday 2016.  To the pastor who did not see a soul saved, who did not have a returning visitor and who stood at the door, greeting folks, awaiting that first time visitor, but did not see them walk through your church’s door…You, Sir, are just as important, just as loved, just as looked up to (in my eyes) as the Pastor who saw souls saved, people baptized, welcomed returning visitors and greeted first time visitors. Be mindful, if you were faithful to the Lord, you have done everything the Lord has asked you to be and do. Thank you for inviting people. Thank you for studying to preach. Thank you for facing the tria

Hope Is Alive!

Hope Is Alive! Join us at Crossroads Baptist Church this spring as we preach about the risen Saviour-Jesus Christ! Our hope is alive, because Jesus is risen! The picture associated with this post is of one of our outreach cards that was used today to spread the message of Christ throughout our neighborhood. May the Lord use it to draw souls to His salvation, encourage Christians who are out of church to get back into to church and stir the fervency of the faithful! One of the truths that we have been pointing out on Sunday mornings is that the witness of the disciples of Christ intensified as they understood the reality of Christ’s resurrection! May our witness be bold, compassionate and sensitive to the Saviour-because He lives! Thank you for reading! God quickly brought the following verse to mind, Malachi 4:2, “But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings…” Do you know the beauty that is in view for those that fear His name? O what power! O what glory! O what beauty! O what healing our Lord shall come with when He comes again! This truth of Christ’s comi
