Dear Family, Friends and Faithful Supporters,
We are reminded of this wonderful truth from Ezra 7:9 “…according to the good hand of his God upon him,” and as we look back on this summer full of ministry opportunities, God’s “good hand” was evidently, mercifully upon us.
God blessed with the following successful ministry opportunities: 3 Revivals, 2 Teen Camps, 1 Counselor Training Camp, 1 Junior Camp, 4 Sunday Services, a Bible Study, and the honor of helping support kids going to camp during a golf outing at one of our supporting churches.
God blessed by allowing us to see 15 souls come to salvation in Jesus Christ so far this summer! Glory to His name!
God gave safety and joy across the miles as we were blessed to travel in Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Texas, and Wisconsin.
After an extremely busy stretch of ministry, God allowed us rest with our friends, the Bowman Family, in the Waco area of Texas. The Bowman family is stepping out in faith as they begin traveling as Creation Evangelists. I know Dr. Micah Bowman would be a blessing to your church concerning this necessary topic. Rachel and Lydia were blessed with a quick trip to Alaska for a memorial service and some family time. While they were away, I filled the pulpit for my pastor, had a couple side jobs, and kept myself quite busy with ministry opportunities in Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, and Wisconsin.
While in Alaska, Rachel was blessed to begin her Master’s degree in Education through Maranatha Baptist University. We are excited for her as she steps forward to extend her education for God’s glory.
Tickets were cheaper for my girls to fly back to Kansas City. Therefore, I picked Rachel and Lydia up the day before our anniversary, and we spent our anniversary in the Kansas City area with our supporting church friends: Pastor Tim and Bridget Lewallen.
All these rejoice points could be expounded on more deeply, but we invite you to bring a prayer before the Lord of thanksgiving for His wonderful works among the children of men. We’re still amazed that God is using us for His glory. All praise be to Him.

The end of August and first part of September are set aside for a good kick off to the school year from our home area.
Thank you for your prayers and for rejoicing with us. We are grateful for everyone’s faithful support, the generous extra giving, and the generous care from the ministries where we were blessed to serve. May God continue to open the Windows of Heaven and bless you greatly!
