A Heart For Revival’s Ministry Update

Current Support Level: 44.6%

We have placed two beautiful pictures of Alaska in this email.

A couple fun facts about our Alaska trip: our average day time temperature since our arrival has been 48 degrees. As of June 9th, sunrise is at 4:14am and sunset is at 11:37pm, but it never gets fully dark in-between those hours.

TO EVERY THING THERE IS A SEASON

Ecclesiastes 3:1 “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” Every thing has a season. Every thing has a purpose. Praise the Lord for His divine order in every thing. With that said, each of us gains a renewed trust and deeper faith in the goodness of God in every thing. Let’s remember to praise Him today and always.

OUR CURRENT SEASON

Many of you already know that my (Justyn’s) current season is one of back and forth illnesses and many ministry cancelations. We suppose the root cause was mold exposure from our remodel. The main reason for this thinking is through a test I had done that revealed high mold content in my body and due to any time I’m around something obviously moldy, I instantly start to feel bad. This leads to feverish symptoms with out necessarily having a fever. From time to time, I’ve been susceptible to random illness that my girls never received. We’ve been riding out this season and started the process of finding out more. (There are so many things it could be.)

RECENT DISCOVERIES

Our doctor had me rule out various issues through some blood tests, and he also had me order an MRI of the brain. This MRI has revealed an open door for us to step through as they found one of my sinus cavities is completely full. They won’t know if there’s infection in it until its removed and examined, but it can be possible that the mold (or just the amount of time that thing has been stuck in there) that it is causing me various problems. Different doctors believe different things about it. The reason my sinus cavity is full is due to a deviated septum that prevents anything from coming out of the nose. The four things the MRI revealed that need surgery are: correcting a deviated septum, shaving off a bone spur on the left side, removing two large turbinates (right and left side), and completely removing blockage in my right maxillary sinus cavity (this removal is important because it has nowhere to grow, and, if it tries to grow, it could cause greater problems.)

THE CURRENT PLAN

Our original flights back home were set for June 17th, but the process has moved so smoothly and quickly up here in Alaska that if we were to reset this process in Illinois our meeting scheduled would have to be cancelled even further out then it already is. The 2 hour surgery is scheduled for June 20th. This date is someone’s probable cancellation date. We are hoping that this is true. The Lord’s will be done.

Our ministry’s calendar philosophy has always been, James 4:15 "...if the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that", and Proverbs 27:1 "Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.” And here we are, practicing our calendar fulfillment philosophy by trusting in what God has for us for during this current season. :-)

As we close this update, we desire to thank our faithful supporters who are so faithful to give monthly. You are a blessing! Also, we have several individuals who have given one time generous gifts recently. THANK YOU for being used of God to encourage us during our great time of need. God bless you all!
