February 2026 || Update and Prayer Letter

 

FEBRUARY 28TH, 2026


May the Lord give revival and souls saved. Thank you for your prayers.



Due to revival travels, we are only able to send an email update this month. This update can be printed and posted as needed. We should be able to get physical copies in the mail for next month‘s prayer letter.

Dear Family and Friends,

Since our last monthly update:

  • God has answered prayers for provision by supplying us with 2 new monthly supporters. We keep individual giver's names private, but we desire to rejoice with you concerning our newest supporting church: Crossroads Baptist, Peoria, IL! This news is extra special to us because I grew up there and had the honor of pastoring there for a little over 6 years. Thank you, Crossroads, for your great grace to us, and thank you to each of our monthly supporters. You are a blessing to our family and ministry! 

  • God blessed with extra love offerings from unexpected individuals. All the extra gifts go a long way to the supply for the work of the ministry. Thank you!

  • God blessed with five events added to our calendar, and two of them are with “new to us” churches. 

  • God blessed with wonderful revival opportunities in February. We had a sweet time in revival with our friends in Eagle Pass, TX as well as with our new friends in Valley Falls, KS. We then filled the pulpit for our pastor, and had a return visit to Seneca, IL for a Banquet and a special Sunday. We concluded February in revival with our friends and “new to us” church in Lusk, WY where we will serve through March 1st. God has certainly been so good to all of us in each of these meetings!

  • God blessed Lydia with a wonderful 9th birthday party.

  • God blessed with great wisdom concerning something we will mention in our next prayer letter. We are referring to this as: For the sake of the Gospel and the continuance of the ministry God had led us to fulfill. 


Please pray for the following requests:

  • Our health overall and wisdom in navigating the ups and downs that come with the health situations we are facing.

  • Lydia as she seeks to finish third grade.

  • Rachel as she homeschools Lydia and teaches 2nd grade online.

  • Our family as we travel to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ and seek to stir believers toward a more zealous walk with God.

  Visit Our YouTube Channel Print This Update June 9th, 2025 A Heart For Revival’s Ministry Update Current Support Level: 44.6% We have placed two beautiful pictures of Alaska in this email.  A couple fun facts about our Alaska trip: our average day time temperature since our arrival has been 48 degrees. As of June 9th, sunrise is at 4:14am and sunset is at 11:37pm, but it never gets fully dark in-between those hours. It's Been A Week...

  Recovery Update June 27th, 2025 This may be the last solely recovery update email. The next should be a ministry update. We’ll see. 🙂 It’s been a week since surgery. I can’t believe it. Two things to note since last update: 1) Recovery is going so much better than planned, and 2) Out of the thousands of deviated septums my doctor has performed surgery on, mine landed in the “severe” category.  On Tuesday, June 24th, I visited my doctor to have the nasal splints pulled out. They came out nicely and without pain. Instantly, the pressure was relieved - as you can imagine. Rachel has a pic of the splints that were up my nose (if you want to see them). I hear these splints are way better now than what they used to stick up your nose during surgery. 😅 After the splints were removed, the doctor brought the words I had been waiting to answer and experience, “Can you breathe now?” I replied, “Yes, to my left side, but No on my right side.” The right side was the original problem si...

  TEENAGE SUMMER BAGGAGE #4: The Baggage Of No Self Control In 2 Peter 1:6, the exhortation to, "add to knowledge temperance..." is huge to overcoming lives challenging temptations. Do we even try to reign victorious over temptations, or do we simply fall to them every single time?  Temperance means self-control. It comes from a word that means: strong in a thing (masterful) or self- controlled (as in appetite). When you "give in" every time, you are constantly lending yourself to defeat when we are told we already have victory in Jesus. Please take note of these testimonies of self control from the Bible, and then realize you can react just like them with the help of the Lord! I.
