October 2025 || Ministry Update

 

OCTOBER UPDATE  May the Lord give revival and souls saved. Thank you for your prayers. The mailed copies of this letter went out on October 15th. October 15th, 2025 Dear Family and Friends, “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6 God has “a good work” going on within us, and we are confident that every day is another opportunity to live out that “good work” for His glory. Let’s all move forward in the confidence that God is doing “a good work” in each of our lives. May Jesus Christ be praised! Recent praises: God has added 10 events to the schedule. One new pastor scheduled a 10 day revival, another new pastor scheduled a Sunday through Friday with the possibility of going to the next Sunday through Friday, and a supporting church pastor scheduled us to fill his pulpit for three weeks. I can’t speak for other Itinerant preachers, but I get excited for any opportunity to minister God’s Word. On top of this, we have officially had our first booking in California for January 2026. We are looking forward to every event that is on the horizon.  God allowed the health to minister at every scheduled event in Illinois, Kansas, and Arkansas. I have only had three days of sickness since the last update. Aside from the blessed regular church services we were a part of, Rachel was blessed to speak to ladies several times this month, including a Ladies’ Retreat at Amazing Grace Baptist Camp in Ottawa, Kansas, as well as during a wonderful revival at White Drive Baptist Church in Batesville, Arkansas. God is moving graciously in each of these locations. We were blessed to be part of what God is doing! God has blessed us with random, “out of the blue” love offerings along with our normal monthly support and love offerings from churches. Each gift is a huge blessing to help us as we move forward with what God has led us to do —especially through 2025– which has been an extremely trying year with health and finances. Every gift is gracious and certainly timely and helpful. Thank you! God has allowed (and we have taken) many opportunities to spread the Gospel. Whether its been word of mouth, Gospel tracts, the Gospel Golf Ball (see our website if you’re not familiar with this), or preaching/singing, we pray the seed of the Gospel has fallen on receptive hearts that will lead to each individual trusting in the righteousness of Jesus Christ. At the time of this typing, I’m preparing to fly from Kansas to Wisconsin for a Men’s Retreat. I’ll have enough time to check on things at our home in Illinois, get out this month’s newsletter, enjoy some fellowship, and then minister the Word at Camp Joy’s Men’s Retreat this weekend. After the retreat is over, I fly back to Kansas Saturday evening, get picked up by Rachel and Lydia, and then we head to Meriden, Kansas for a week of Revival Mtgs in a new church for us. Please pray all the flights and schedules go smoothly so we can be on time and present to serve in Meriden, Kansas.
