PRAY FOR A REVIVING THAT ONLY GOD CAN GIVE

I believe each believer reading this update would agree…we need a great reviving from God. As it says in Habakkuk 3:2, “ O Lord, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O Lord, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.” We need God’s name to be made known again. We need God to help us. We need a great awakening from God. We need God to do what only He can do!

Our last newsletter was written on August 22nd, but it was only sent digitally due to our travels. If you missed it, you can find it on our website. By design, there are a couple things I left in this update that were in the last update—just in case you missed it.

HERE ARE A FEW WAYS GOD HAS BEEN GOOD SINCE OUR LAST NEWSLETTER ON AUGUST 22ND:

  • God’s been good to give us wonderful ministry opportunities: We were greatly encouraged by our friends at Mid-Valley Independent Baptist Church in Wasilla, Alaska, and we look forward to being back with them around Christmas. We also had the wonderful opportunity to minister at Freedom Baptist in Seneca, Illinois for their church’s anniversary. It was encouraging to hear of the many ways God has provided for them over the years. To God be the glory! Concerning ministry opportunities, please pray for God’s wisdom, guidance, divine appointments, power, and provisions; and for good health and safety as we enter another very busy revival meeting and ministry stretch.

  • God’s been good to add 4 new events to the calendar.

  • God’s been good to provide extra side jobs to help meet the financial needs. Due to puncturing my right hand on one of the jobs, Rachel purposed to assist me as much as possible. She proved to be a great handywoman (or at least a great side kick to this handyman)! She learned to use a jigsaw, wet-saw, and was very good at looking ahead to see what I needed next. It’s been fun to work side by side.

A message from Justyn: Pray for me as I continue to prepare messages and plan for upcoming ministry opportunities.

A message from Rachel: Pray for me as I homeschool Lydia and prepare to record my new CD at Faith Music Missions in Evansville, IN this week.

A message from Lydia: Pray for me as I do first grade, practice violin and piano, and travel with Mommy and Daddy.
