A Heart For Revival’s Ministry Update

Written July 7th  

Due to the busyness of our schedule, we are doing the best to get these updates out as soon as possible after the end of each month. Thank you for your patience with us. The physical copies are in the month as of July 10th.

GOD IS ALLOWING A BUSY AND BLESSED SUMMER…

Romans 12:11 exhorts, “Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;” and as He continues to fill our schedule, He gives us the strength and the grace to serve Him and His church. Your prayers and generosity are encouraging to us as we seek to shine for Jesus so others may know the marvelous grace of our loving Lord!


HERE ARE A FEW WAYS WE ARE GIVING GOD THE PRAISE SINCE OUR LAST NEWSLETTER ON MAY 27TH:

  • We give God praise for the following ministry opportunities: We enjoyed the blessing of singing and preaching with our friends at Victory Baptist Church in Osawatomie, KS over Memorial Day weekend. After that, we were blessed by Evangelist Dave Sommerdorf who provided our way to a great ministry refresher at Heartland Baptist Bible College. We then served the Lord at Victory Baptist Church in Rockford, IL. We then headed to Lodi, Wisconsin to be refreshed with ministry friends. From Lodi, the girls enjoyed a couple weeks at home while Justyn flew to Alaska to work and preach in a few churches in Wasilla and Glennallen (Birch Harbor Baptist, Old Paths Baptist, Mid Valley Independent Baptist). After his return, we preached in Belleville, IL at Faith Baptist. Last, and certainly not least, we had the privilege of ministering the Word at Bible Baptist in Bloomington, IL during their summer sermon series. It has been neat to catch up with each of these ministries and see what the Lord has been doing since our last visits. We are grateful for all the opportunities to return to churches and continue to serve alongside them. To God be all the glory. He is doing great things!

  • We give God praise for 4 new events added to the calendar.


  • We give God praise for extra side jobs to help meet the financial needs of our family.


  • We give God praise concerning Rachel’s CD fund. Rachel was contacted by an anonymous friend who asked how the CD fund was coming along. A week or so later we returned home to a check for over $2,500 which brought the fund to 100%. Praise the Lord! Thank you to each individual and church family who has helped us meet this goal. Please pray with Rachel as she continues to prepare for this recording project. The recording date has been officially set for September 20th-21st.


  • We give God praise for a support level of 72%. Though the percentage has dropped a little, we are rejoicing over the consistency and generosity of our monthly supporters. Thank you for helping us financially as we travel and serve the Lord where He leads us. God is using you through your giving. God bless you!

7 Things I’m Thankful For This Thanksgiving

  7 Things I’m Thankful For This Thanksgiving Today, we will be stuffed with thanksgiving wishes from every avenue of social media, email, and text. We will hear these wishes on the radio. We will hear them from our friends. Some will get tired of the constant thanksgiving wishes, and others will pipe in on the thanksgiving wishes melody, but what if all the thanksgiving wishes actually motivated us to pause for a moment and simply give thanks today? This would be a life changer, and that is why I am typing this record. As a Child of God, Husband, and Preacher, I would like to take a moment to go on the record and give thanks for 7 things that I never want to take for granted. The seven things I’m Thankful for this Thanksgiving are as follows:  1. I’m thankful for salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord , for without it I would be lost and undone in my sin and on my way to hell. December 2019 || Ministry Update

Dear Family and Friends... The Work of our December ministry was exciting and extremely blessed by the Lord!  Our hearts are full, and we are marveling over our Saviour's birth! We are rejoicing over so many things to report...first, thank you for your faithful prayers, love and support. NOTES:  We ARE CURRENTLY in Alaska visiting family and ministering the Word of God through the first week of February. Please take note that any support sent by mail may take a little longer to be deposited. Also, our envelopes need to be reprinted due to an old address on them. If you don’t know it already, please take note of the new address for correspondence on our website. We will attempt to produce an annual “report” newsletter after the first of the year, but this may not be accomplished until we return from Alaska the first part of February. We shall see!
