HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Let’s purpose to delight in God and be a light for God in 2023.
This newsletter is simple and to the point. We desire to deliver the highlights from 2022 accompanied with the current plans for 2023.

This newsletter is simple and to the point. We desire to deliver the highlights from 2022 accompanied with the current plans for 2023.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM 2022

  • We were blessed to have 60 different events!

  • We were blessed with 4 “NEW TO US" churches. This means we had the tremendous blessing of continuing to build relationships by revisiting 30 churches. We want to express our gratitude for each new pastor and each reoccurring pastor that allowed us to visit their churches and minister to their church families. Thank you!

  • We were blessed to sing and preached in 10 different states including (AK, FL, IL, KS, MI, NH, PA, TN, WI, and WY). We also had the marvelous opportunity to speak several times over Zoom in Canada.

  • We were blessed to deliver 155 sermons.

  • We were blessed with 2 individual professions of faith in Christ. (It’s worth every mile!)

  • We were blessed with 9 new weekly or monthly supporters.

  • We were blessed with increased support from 1 supporter.

  • We were blessed with a fairly healthy year, BUT we were sick a few extra times. We rejoice in God’s allowance for recovery. This lends to more fervent prayers for future health that we may serve without sickness for the glory of God.

A LOOK AHEAD TO 2023

We continue with the same ministry philosophy for our calendar of events: "...if the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that" (James 4:15), and "Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth." (Proverbs 27:1)

With that restated and as we look ahead at our 2023 calendar, we are praying, preparing and rejoicing over the following:

  • We rejoice over 28 scheduled events. 21 are with familiar churches. 7 are brand new.

  • We are currently scheduled to be in AK, AZ, British Columbia, FL, GA, IL, KS, MI, MO, NC, OK, PA, TN, and WI.

  • We have a couple “tent making” opportunities forming in IL and AK.

PRAYER REQUESTS FOR 2023:

  • Souls saved - John 20:31

  • Revival stirred - Habakkuk 3:2

  • Hard hearts made tender - Hosea 10:12

  • God to work uniquely during individual events for a testimony for His Name and goodness - Joshua 4:23-24

  • More meetings to be scheduled - Psalm 37:5

  • Provisions: physically, financially, mentally, and for safety while traveling - Proverbs 3:5-8, Proverbs 21:31

  • The pastors, their families and their churches to be encouraged and greatly helped - Ephesians 4:11-12, Romans 15:32, Philemon 1:7

  • Reoccurring meetings - Proverbs 16:20, 3 John 1:14

  • Get to know people personally and remember them - 3 John 1:14, Job 19:14, Proverbs 18:24

  • Responses to the singing and sermons that have a lasting impact for Christ - Psalm 27:8,13-14, Isaiah 55:6-7

In conclusion:

Thank you for being interested in what God is doing with A Heart For Revival Ministries. Thank you for praying for our family. Thank you for giving to this work of the ministry. Let’s purpose to delight in God and be a light for God in 2023.

Justyn, Rachel, & Lydia Smith • Proverbs 3:5-6
