Dear Family and Friends,





PROMISE OF NEW SUPPORT!

Shortly after our last newsletter was posted, I was driving down the Palmer-Wasilla Highway in Alaska. I came across a lady who was carrying a gas can and walking toward the nearest gas station. The Lord gave me the opportunity to pick her up and speak with her about the Lord. When we arrived at the gas station, the Lord prompted me to pay for and fill up her gas can. After returning her to her vehicle, the Lord reassured me I had done His work in that moment of opportunity…but that’s not the end of the story… 

A couple hours later, Rachel relayed to me a conversation she’d had with a sweet couple from Indiana. They stated their desire to take us on for monthly support through the end of 2022! When I heard the news of support, I passed on the gas station story to Rachel. We thanked the Lord, and we rejoiced again over Luke 6:38 which promises, ”Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”

Praise the Lord!…but…just when you think you’ve reached the conclusion of the story, I finish with this…one of our faithful supporters reached out the next day with news of needing to postpone support due to financial struggles. This news could discourage us, but God knows, and God was already encouraging us with the fact, “Smith family, I’m Your Shepherd, and you shall not want! I have already given you the promise of another supporter.” All this reminds me of the words of my friend and missionary Danny Tesseneer, “Ain’t God Good?!”


REJOICE POINTS FOR JULY 2022:

  • As stated above, God provided promise of new support starting in August. *Thank you to every supporter and one-time donor. Your thoughtfulness and gracious giving is so important to the work of the ministry!
  • 2 events have been added to the schedule since our last newsletter.
  • Opportunities to share His Gospel were accomplished. We are praying for fruit to abound.
  • With the exception of the mortgage, we rejoice over being debt free in the work of the ministry and personally. This brings much liberty in many situations. Thank you, Lord!
  • God has allowed us to rest up and recover from our Alaska trip and various illnesses.
  • We did 15 activities on July 21st to celebrate 15 years of marriage!

A Surprise Alaska Trip

A somewhat last minute trip to Alaska came up and we jumped on the opportunity. This whole trip was designed to surprise a youth pastor in Fairbanks, Alaska for faithfully serving for 20 years as a youth pastor. My girls couldn’t go due to how fast the trip and turn around times were, but it was a blessing to get to visit Alaska again so soon. HAPPY NEW YEAR! Let’s purpose to delight in God and be a light for God in 2023. This newsletter is simple and to the point. We desire to deliver the highlights from 2022 accompanied with the current plans for 2023. HIGHLIGHTS FROM 2022 We were blessed to have 60 different events! We were blessed with 4 “NEW TO US" churches.  This means we had the tremendous blessing of continuing to build relationships by revisiting 30 churches. We want to express our gratitude for each new pastor and each reoccurring pastor that allowed us to visit their churches and minister to their church families. Thank you! An Audio Witness

  An Audio Witness Attention Pastors, Evangelists, and Teachers of the Word! Start being an  audio witness  of what God has engraved within your heart! It's easy, and It doesn't take much time to establish. On average, I typically spend 1/2 an hour a day/6 days a week establishing my daily audio witness called  "The Preacher's Push."  This name was birthed in my mind and heart during evangelism. However, it's influence never came into full swing until this past year. The reason I am posting this blog is to simply show others (who have inquired) how I do what I do that they may establish a similar setup to "exhort one another daily" from the Word of God!
