January 31st, 2022

Dear Family and Friends,

3 John 1:14 “But I trust I shall shortly see thee, and we shall speak face to face. Peace be to thee. Our friends salute thee. Greet the friends by name."

This newsletter is simple and to the point. We wish to deliver the highlights from January accompanied with the anticipated ministry plans for February through May.


REJOICE POINTS FOR JANUARY:

  • We were blessed to sing and speak at Homer Independent Baptist Church in Homer, Alaska. The Lord gave us the theme, “Be of good cheer; for I believe God” for the messages for the meeting. This meeting was a tremendous kickoff to our 2022 revival schedule. 
  • We were blessed to sing and preach for a winter VBS at Immanuel Baptist Church in Kenai, AK. The Lord gave great unity in all aspects of the VBS, and we are excited to be placed on the schedule for VBS next winter as well! It was a blast…VB-YES! ;-)
  • We were blessed with an additional love offering. This gracious gift has helped filled the void of having our 4-week-long ministry trip canceled due to sickness. The Lord continues to be our Great Provider! A special thanks to the giver or givers of this gift. We know the Lord gives special promises to those who give beyond themselves. THANK YOU!
  • This leads us to another word of gratitude for the consistency of our supporters. Your giving is a HUGE blessing to us and the work of the ministry. It makes times like these more bearable financially. God bless you! (You can find out more about giving/support on our website at aheartforrevival.com.)
  • The Lord has added 7 events to the schedule. This includes pastors we have been with before as well as pastors who are new to us! We praise the Lord for every pastor who has reached out and scheduled our family to visit. God bless you, and we are praying for God to work mightily in our upcoming event with you!
  • Rachel and Lydia enjoyed visiting Florida while I enjoyed the slow pace of recovering from a two-week sickness in Illinois. Just in case you’re wondering, I didn’t ship my girls off to get away from me and my sickness. They already had plans to fly straight from Alaska to Florida and there was housing awaiting them with family. I’m glad they got to enjoy some time with my aunt and uncle. :-)

  • May 20th-22nd Michigan: Prairie Baptist-Scotts (Christian Education Weekend) 
  • May 27th Illinois: Marquette Manor Baptist Academy-Downers Grove (Graduation)


In conclusion:

Thank you for being interested in what God is doing with A Heart For Revival Ministries. Thank you for praying for our family. Thank you for supporting our ministry financially. Thank you for encouraging our hearts as we continue to fulfill what God has led us to do!

A Surprise Alaska Trip

A somewhat last minute trip to Alaska came up and we jumped on the opportunity. This whole trip was designed to surprise a youth pastor in Fairbanks, Alaska for faithfully serving for 20 years as a youth pastor. My girls couldn’t go due to how fast the trip and turn around times were, but it was a blessing to get to visit Alaska again so soon. 2022 End Of The Year Update

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Let’s purpose to delight in God and be a light for God in 2023. This newsletter is simple and to the point. We desire to deliver the highlights from 2022 accompanied with the current plans for 2023. HIGHLIGHTS FROM 2022 We were blessed to have 60 different events! We were blessed with 4 “NEW TO US" churches.  This means we had the tremendous blessing of continuing to build relationships by revisiting 30 churches. We want to express our gratitude for each new pastor and each reoccurring pastor that allowed us to visit their churches and minister to their church families. Thank you! An Audio Witness

  An Audio Witness Attention Pastors, Evangelists, and Teachers of the Word! Start being an  audio witness  of what God has engraved within your heart! It's easy, and It doesn't take much time to establish. On average, I typically spend 1/2 an hour a day/6 days a week establishing my daily audio witness called  "The Preacher's Push."  This name was birthed in my mind and heart during evangelism. However, it's influence never came into full swing until this past year. The reason I am posting this blog is to simply show others (who have inquired) how I do what I do that they may establish a similar setup to "exhort one another daily" from the Word of God!
