February 2020 Update


 February 24th, 2020

Dear Family and Friends…
Our second month of ministry in 2020 was blessed by the Lord! Our hearts are full, and we desire to move forward “Seeing Him Who Is Invisible.” We are rejoicing over so many blessings to report, but, first, thank you for your faithful prayers, love and support.
NOTES:
•As of 1.21.20, Giving statements to every individual giver to A Heart For Revival Ministries were sent out by mail from Alaska. Please let us know if you don’t receive yours.
REJOICE POINTS:
1. God Gave Us Another Monthly Supporter! The Lord blessed us with another monthly supporter in February! We were greatly encouraged and blessed when Pastor Ron Hamman of Mid Valley Independent Baptist Church in Houston, Alaska contacted us the day after our return from Alaska to state that they have added us to their monthly support list. Thank you, Mid Valley, for helping us financially in the work God has led us to and for being an answer to our prayers!
(Though we don’t petition for support from behind pulpits, we do PRAY for support in private. This rejoice point answered specific prayers for support, and allows us another avenue to teach Lydia how God wonderfully hears our prayers and desires to answer them in His time and according to His will!)
2. God Increased Our Vehicle Fund by $4,416.09! Checking the mail box has always been a joy of mine. God has used the USPS to transfer many answers to prayer for His Kingdom’s work to us over the years. We are honored that God sees fit to bless us as monthly recipients of many of such blessings, but this month we were recipients of the HUGE blessing mentioned above which increased our car fund! We are extremely thankful for the group of people who saw fit to direct these funds our way. It has been very timely. God bless you!
3. God Gave Us 5 More Events Since Our Last Letter! 5 more for 2020 taking the total to 38 events in 2020…31 of those are within the first half of 2020…Praise the Lord— we can’t wait to see how the Lord will continue to fill our schedule for His glory as there are other ministry opportunities in the making!
We had a blessed mtg. With Valley in Palmer, AK. We can’t wait to see them again and are thankful for their fellowship!

We were blessed to be a part Victory in Rockford’s anniversary service. They surprised Lydia with a birthday party.

We were so blessed to be back at Crossroads, the church I pastored, and we thank God for the work He did and is doing there. May God continue to bless this ministry we know and love dearly!

3. March 21st - Youth Rally at Grace Baptist in St. Louis, IL
4. March 22nd - Sunday at Grace Baptist in St. Louis, IL
5. March 29th-April 1st - Spring Revival at Anchor Baptist in South Haven, MI
6. 2020 schedule to continue to fill.
7. Wisdom and God’s continued provision for our future vehicle.

Print This Update September 15th, 2025  Dear Family and Friends, Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches. 2 Corinthians 11:28 We can’t relate to many of the afflictions that Paul experienced, but we can relate to “the care of all the churches” toward us in our need. Thank you for caring for our family so well. We worked through health struggles, and were blessed to serve the Lord in Wisconsin and twice in Kansas in August. Each Sunday and each revival service was greatly blessed, along with the opportunity to officiate a very sweet wedding. We are thanking the Lord for His help in each of these services, for without Him we can do nothing. No Food Or Water Until...

  June 19th, 2025  (8:15pm Alaska Time) No food or water until tomorrow after surgery…the SURGERY is on! I arrive at the surgery center tomorrow at 11:45am Alaska time.  Some have said, “It’ll feel like someone hit you in the nose with a sledge hammer. But you’ll be so grateful after a few days to have had it done.” So in preparation for surgery, I had Rachel grab a sledge hammer and proceed to … no, no we didn’t prepare that way, but we have made other preparations physically, and I’m currently excited about tomorrow. (Ask me tomorrow night how excited I am about it.) 😉 Praise the Lord for the provisions to move forward with this surgery, and praise the Lord for everything coming together so quickly. We truly hope this cures whatever I’ve been facing…either way, it’s a good first step. 👍🏼 We are grateful for all the love, prayers and extra gifts.   Visit Our YouTube Channel Print This Update June 9th, 2025 A Heart For Revival’s Ministry Update Current Support Level: 44.6% We have placed two beautiful pictures of Alaska in this email.  A couple fun facts about our Alaska trip: our average day time temperature since our arrival has been 48 degrees. As of June 9th, sunrise is at 4:14am and sunset is at 11:37pm, but it never gets fully dark in-between those hours. TO EVERY THING THERE IS A SEASON Ecclesiastes 3:1 “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” Every thing has a season. Every thing has a purpose. Praise the Lord for His divine order in every thing. With that said, each of us gains a renewed trust and deeper faith in the goodness of God in every thing.
