Three "Musts" For Missions Revival

I'm really excited about getting in on everything God has in store for us this week at our 2016 Missions Revival, "REACHING THE NATIONS," and it's my desire to prepare you to be ready for our missions revival this week by giving you the "Three 'Musts' For Missions Revival." I'm so thankful for the many who have volunteered their services in many different ways (food prep, basket items, decorating, 5K sign up, etc), but there is still a few things that need to be done. Let me list them so you can help us all be ready for a great missions revival this week!

I. We must be Pure! There's no need for us to wait for tonight to "get things in order spiritually." Get them in order now. Let's search our hearts and our lives. We'll find out the meeting will be "that much better" if we are where we need to be spiritually, which is, in right standing before God with no deceitfulness, hypocrisies, secret sins, etc.

II. We must be Prayerful! I can't stress enough the importance of praying together for the success of this meeting. "A church that prays together stays together." (Author unknown)
Let's pray for the following:

  • Lord, revive us with a greater missionary zeal.
  • Lord, show me what to give this week and every month toward missions.
  • Lord, give me an opportunity to serve you this week, and help me to accomplish it successfully and joyfully!
  • Lord, give our guest preachers and their families wisdom, health, power, financial blessings, purity, and encouragement from us!
  • Lord, thank you for revival!

If we desire the Lord to move in wonderfully ways through the preachers, missionary videos, and our church family, we must pray for the Spirit's power. Let's ask God together for "the great and mighty things," in this week's meeting!

III. We must be Present! I guarantee it, if we are faithfully in our places at church each night of this meeting, God will fill our cups as they are lifted up. Sure, we could stay home, but we'll miss out on the individual and church wide blessings that God has in store for our good and for His glory! Let's show God that He is really all that matters to us!

I am persuaded that the more people who get involved with these "Three Musts," the better our missions revival will be! Please take the challenge this week, and be PURE, be PRAYERFUL, and be PRESENT, and may God greatly bless you in extra special ways this week!

Blessed Beyond Measure,
