  DECEMBER 2025 UPDATE Happy New Year, and welcome to 2026! 🥳 May the Lord give revival and souls saved. Thank you for your prayers. If you gave to our ministry online, your giving report will be  emailed to you in mid to late January. ***If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, may you believe on Him for everlasting life before it’s too late. Read John 3:16 in the Bible, and please reach out for more details.*** Print This Update Dear Family and Friends, This update has two sections: a look back at 2025 and brief look forward to 2026.  THE THEME IN 2025 BECAME: WHEREAS YE KNOW NOT WHAT SHALL BE ON THE MORROW…from James 4:14 This verse has been one of our ministry calendar fulfillment verses since A Heart For Revival Ministries was founded. There have been little seasons where this verse was evidently lived out including the 2020 covid stretch, but the end of 2024 and all of 2025 has brought James 4:14 to the forefront of our attention. As I consider the ...

Today I Met A Suburban On My Bike

  NOVEMBER UPDATE  May the Lord give revival and souls saved. Thank you for your prayers. The mailed copies of this letter went out on December 3rd. Print This Update                           December 1st, 2025 Dear Family and Friends, Proverbs 21:31 “The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.” For those who didn’t hear, I was riding a bike in Florida and I slammed hard into a Suburban that didn’t see me while it was pulling into a sports complex parking lot. In a moment, my life flashed before my eyes. This incident became an instant “praise God and comfort one another” moment. There’s so much to the story that I wish I could tell in this update, but while I was cleaning up from the incident and singing songs about the goodness of God, God brought these words to mind: “Today I Met a Suburban“ which has become my simple testimony of gratitude from a moment where everything could ...

October 2025 || Ministry Update

  OCTOBER UPDATE  May the Lord give revival and souls saved. Thank you for your prayers. The mailed copies of this letter went out on October 15th. October 15th, 2025 Dear Family and Friends, “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6 God has “a good work” going on within us, and we are confident that every day is another opportunity to live out that “good work” for His glory. Let’s all move forward in the confidence that God is doing “a good work” in each of our lives. May Jesus Christ be praised! Recent praises: God has added 10 events to the schedule. One new pastor scheduled a 10 day revival, another new pastor scheduled a Sunday through Friday with the possibility of going to the next Sunday through Friday, and a supporting church pastor scheduled us to fill his pulpit for three weeks. I can’t speak for other Itinerant preachers, but I get excited for any opportunity...

September 2025 || Ministry Update

  SEPTEMBER UPDATE  May the Lord give revival and souls saved. Thank you for your prayers. Print This Update September 15th, 2025  Dear Family and Friends, Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches. 2 Corinthians 11:28 We can’t relate to many of the afflictions that Paul experienced, but we can relate to “the care of all the churches” toward us in our need. Thank you for caring for our family so well. We worked through health struggles, and were blessed to serve the Lord in Wisconsin and twice in Kansas in August. Each Sunday and each revival service was greatly blessed, along with the opportunity to officiate a very sweet wedding. We are thanking the Lord for His help in each of these services, for without Him we can do nothing. At the time of this typing, we were originally scheduled to be in Mexico and then Arizona for a revival, but God had other plans for us. He has allowed some much needed recovery time as I ...

We Are Flexing...July 2025 Update

JULY UPDATE Print This Update *Pictures below are not in physical copy. Written and sent by mail on July 14th, 2025 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. Proverbs 27:1 WE ARE FLEXING Thank you for flexing with us! The past two months (and more) have certainly spiraled in different directions than we’d planned. For instance, We had 7 events planned in Alaska, but I could only fulfill 2 of them due to illness. We also had to extend our trip in Alaska due to an MRI of my head which revealed a need for surgery sooner than later. **If you missed any of the surgery or recovery emails, you can find our list of updates on our website by clicking the top header bar. You will be redirected to all our recent email updates.  Speaking of flexing, our Alaska family willingly flexed of their hospitality toward us to give me time for surgery and recovery before flying home. Also, pastors in Alaska and back in the lower 48 have graciously flexed in canceli...

It's Been A Week...

  Recovery Update June 27th, 2025 This may be the last solely recovery update email. The next should be a ministry update. We’ll see. 🙂 It’s been a week since surgery. I can’t believe it. Two things to note since last update: 1) Recovery is going so much better than planned, and 2) Out of the thousands of deviated septums my doctor has performed surgery on, mine landed in the “severe” category.  On Tuesday, June 24th, I visited my doctor to have the nasal splints pulled out. They came out nicely and without pain. Instantly, the pressure was relieved - as you can imagine. Rachel has a pic of the splints that were up my nose (if you want to see them). I hear these splints are way better now than what they used to stick up your nose during surgery. 😅 After the splints were removed, the doctor brought the words I had been waiting to answer and experience, “Can you breathe now?” I replied, “Yes, to my left side, but No on my right side.” The right side was the original problem si...
