Dear Family and Friends,
In February’s update, we mentioned the opportunity to exercise a step of great wisdom concerning living for the sake of the Gospel and continuing in the work of the ministry.
Let me start by asking a question: if you could save 15-20k in spending every year, would you do it?
Now, I totally understand the worth of sacrificial giving and spending, but with that question in mind, we are seeking to exercise wisdom with the choices we have available to us and are moving back into our church’s mission house. The home we’ve owned since 2012 is officially “live" on the market as of today. This is exciting and bittersweet all at the same time. Even though we’ve been in full time ministry since 2008, this moment feels like a commitment to Jesus’ words in Mark 8:34, “And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
After finishing the remodel of our home in Peoria (February of 2025), we had the blessing of moving back into it. We understood quickly the struggle of maintaining the home as well as depending the willingness of faithful individuals to check mail, mow the yard, and tend to random things (of which we are extremely grateful). 2025 was struggle bus kind of year with my health. Therefore, we look back and praise the Lord at the blessing of being able to enjoy our remodeled hone for a time. I received the needed rest and am revived again. Praise the Lord!
Since February 19th, 2026, I’ve been remodeling our church’s mission house in preparation to move back into it. The Lord has given much strength for the tasks. Rachel and Lydia have been able to navigate the move, school, and travels extremely well. Rachel’s mom came down last week from Alaska and helped us move, and last night, Sunday, March 29th, was our first night back in the mission’s house.
With all this said, please pray with us for God’s will concerning the sale of our house, the sale price, the family moving into it, and the timing of the sale because our travels for the Lord are very busy. From now until August we only have 22 days home together as a family. Our schedules could change, but praise the Lord for a filling calendar.
On that note, we still have a few dates available throughout the year…mostly late summer/ early fall and then a few more mid-November through December.
Please pray for the following requests:
April 1-10 | Raymore, Missouri (Revival)
April 17-22 | Indianapolis, Indiana (Couples Retreat and Revival)
April 26-May 1 | Benton Harbor, Michigan (Revival)
Thank you for your prayers and rejoicing with us. We are grateful for everyone’s faithful support. God bless you!
God bless you all!
