A Heart For Revival’s Ministry Update

Our Soul Waiteth For The LORD

Psalm 33:20 reminds us, “Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.” A patient, steady focus on our God is important as believers. Let’s keep watching and waiting. We never know what the Lord is up to or what He will do next - aside from the next major event on His timeline, that is. He’s coming soon. Let’s prepare to meet our Maker! Please continue to pray for us as we travel from state to state to help people make these preparations as well.


Here are the following rejoice points since our last newsletter:

  • Rejoice with us over 1 new ministry event added to our schedule. Also, we had 1 revival canceled for July due to the Pastor’s health. Please pray for his strength and recovery.

  • Rejoice with us over Rachel’s third CD. She just received the songs to proof. Any tweaks and changes will be happening within the next couple weeks, and, Lord willing, it should be available in a month or so.

  • Rejoice with us over a nearly full schedule for 2024. We still have a little availability in 2024 and are looking to fill up 2025.

  • Rejoice with us over wonderful meetings. In June, we were blessed to have reoccurring opportunities at our home church while our pastor took a vacation. We were also honored to preach in Dyersburg, TN and Lodi, WI. We had one new-to-us church in June: Legacy Baptist in Oakland, IA. The revival meeting there was greatly blessed. We are encouraged by all the excitement over God’s Word and our new-found friends in the faith. Last but not least, we had a tremendous week of teen camp at Camp Joy in Wisconsin. I wish we could sit down and share face to face all the Lord accomplished through His Word. Just know many prayers were answered and teens were greatly responsive to how God was working in their lives.

  • Rejoice with us over a big remote ministry opportunity for Rachel with the Academy of Excellence. Rachel has been hired to help second graders remotely who are home schooled. We have been praying for something to aid us financially in the work God has led us to do (A Heart For Revival Ministries). God has not only answered this prayer but has opened a door of utterance for Rachel as the Academy of Excellence’s desire is to promote the Gospel and be a Biblical voice to each student while helping them along their homeschool journey. We are rejoicing at this provision which begins in September alongside our busy traveling schedule. We will update our monthly support percentage needs once everything kicks into gear and settles a bit. Hallelujah!

7 Things I’m Thankful For This Thanksgiving

  7 Things I’m Thankful For This Thanksgiving Today, we will be stuffed with thanksgiving wishes from every avenue of social media, email, and text. We will hear these wishes on the radio. We will hear them from our friends. Some will get tired of the constant thanksgiving wishes, and others will pipe in on the thanksgiving wishes melody, but what if all the thanksgiving wishes actually motivated us to pause for a moment and simply give thanks today? This would be a life changer, and that is why I am typing this record. As a Child of God, Husband, and Preacher, I would like to take a moment to go on the record and give thanks for 7 things that I never want to take for granted. December 2019 || Ministry Update

Dear Family and Friends... The Work of our December ministry was exciting and extremely blessed by the Lord!  Our hearts are full, and we are marveling over our Saviour's birth! We are rejoicing over so many things to report...first, thank you for your faithful prayers, love and support. NOTES:  We ARE CURRENTLY in Alaska visiting family and ministering the Word of God through the first week of February. Please take note that any support sent by mail may take a little longer to be deposited. Also, our envelopes need to be reprinted due to an old address on them. If you don’t know it already, please take note of the new address for correspondence on our website. We will attempt to produce an annual “report” newsletter after the first of the year, but this may not be accomplished until we return from Alaska the first part of February. We shall see!
