2023 YEAR IN REVIEW AND A LOOK AHEAD AT 2024

This newsletter is simple and to the point. Here are some of the highlights from 2023 and current plans for 2024.


HIGHLIGHTS FROM 2023

  • We were blessed to have 63 different events!

  • We were blessed with 11 “NEW TO US" churches. This means we had the tremendous blessing of continuing to build relationships by revisiting many other churches that have become like extended family to us. We want to express our gratitude for each new pastor and each reoccurring pastor that allowed us to visit their churches and minister to their church families. Thank you!

  • We were blessed to sing and preach in 13 different states (AK, AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IL, KS, MI, NC, PA, VA, WI). We also had many opportunities to speak over Zoom in B.C. Canada. We also preached a revival at this church in Canada in the summer.

  • We were blessed to deliver 189 sermons.

  • We were blessed with 6 professions of faith in Christ. (It’s worth every mile!)

  • We were blessed with 5 new weekly or monthly supporters and increased support from 2 supporters. We also received several additional one-time donations, all of which helps us go for the glory of God in the work of the ministry. Thank you!

  • We were blessed with good health and safety across the many miles. Please continue to pray for our health and safety that we may serve fervently for the glory of God.


A LOOK AHEAD TO 2024


We continue with the same ministry philosophy for our calendar of events: "...if the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that" (James 4:15), and "Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth." (Proverbs 27:1)


With that restated and as we look ahead at our 2024 calendar, we are praying, preparing and rejoicing over the following:

  • We rejoice over 26 scheduled events. 22 are with familiar churches. 4 are brand new churches for our family.

  • We are currently scheduled to be in AK, AZ, British Columbia, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, MI, TX and WI.

  • We have “tent making” opportunities (building and remodeling projects) throughout the year in Alaska and Illinois.


PRAYER REQUESTS FOR 2024:

  • Souls saved - John 20:31

  • Revival stirred - Habakkuk 3:2

  • Hard hearts made tender - Hosea 10:12

  • God to work uniquely during individual events for a testimony for His name and goodness - Joshua 4:23-24

  • More meetings to be scheduled - Psalm 37:5

  • Provisions: physically, financially, mentally, and for safety while traveling - Proverbs 3:5-8, Proverbs 21:31

  • The pastors, their families and their churches to be encouraged and greatly helped - Ephesians 4:11-12, Romans 15:32, Philemon 1:7

  • Reoccurring meetings - Proverbs 16:20, 3 John 1:14

  • Get to know people personally and remember them - 3 John 1:14, Job 19:14, Proverbs 18:24

  • Responses to the singing and sermons that have a lasting impact for Christ - Psalm 27:8,13-14, Isaiah 55:6-7

June 2022 || Ministry Update

  A Heart For Revival Ministries PRINT THIS UPDATE June 30th, 2022 Dear Family and Friends, AN UNEXPECTED BLESSING IN FAIRBANKS, ALASKA… During the first day of our Fairbanks trip this June, we stopped for a bite at an Arby’s in Fairbanks, AK for lunch. Three career men from the Phoenix Air Guard were behind me in uniform on a “mission.” The Lord prompted me to ask if they would allow me to purchase their meals as an expression of gratitude for their sacrifices and services to our country. They allowed me to do so. They were grateful. They gave us one of their patches. We enjoyed meeting them, and they were so kind to our family in conversation as we were awaiting our meals. After our food came, we had prayer together for them, their upcoming mission and their families. Then, we parted ways. What great guys. We are thankful for our military! March 2021 || Ministry Updates

Dear Family and Friends, THE JOY OF THE LORD IS  CONTAGIOUS! May God grant you (and may you choose) a joy filled 2021! Phil. 4:4 Our 2021 ministry has been blessed beyond measure by our precious Lord!  As one of our friends from Rantoul, IL says, “We are blessed by the BEST!” Our hearts are full, and we desire to move forward choosing “FAITH OVER FEAR.” We are rejoicing over many blessings to report, but, first, thank you for your faithful prayers, love and support. We pray you will enjoy catching up with our endeavors for revival to be stirred and for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. HERE ARE THE BIGGEST REJOICE POINTS SINCE OUR LAST UPDATE: (We still plan to do monthly updates, but with the nature of our ministry travels this quarter this is our first report this year. ) 1.
