January 2020 Update



 

Dear Family and Friends…
Our first month of ministry in 2020 was blessed by the Lord! Our hearts are full, and we desire to move forward “Seeing Him Who Is Invisible.” We are rejoicing over so many blessings to report, but, first, thank you for your faithful prayers, love and support.
NOTES:
•We ARE CURRENTLY in Alaska visiting family and ministering the Word of God through the first week of February.
•Please take note that any support sent by mail may take a little longer to be deposited.
•As of 1.21.20, Giving statements to every individual givers to A Heart For Revival Ministries were sent out by mail from Alaska. Please let us know if you don’t receive yours.
REJOICE POINTS:
1. A soul trusted Christ in Homer, Alaska! We were really encouraged with teenagers inviting teenagers to church during this particular Sunday in Homer…and…guess what? One of those invited came out to church, and after the afternoon service-she trusted Christ! Praise the Lord, and to God be the glory! Rejoice with us! (On this same day, Evangelist Jake Cinereski saw a soul trust Christ during His ministry in Juneau, Alaska!)

2. God blessed us with great January meetings in Alaska! The first two weeks in 2020 were spent on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska and included: A Day 2 Teen Revival with 5 Sessions at Resurrection Bay Baptist in Seward, AK; A Church Revival at the same church; and the Sunday in Homer at Homer Independent Baptist Church (mentioned previously). We also were blessed to serve all day Sunday at Bible Baptist in Chugiak and hold a church revival at Immanuel Baptist in Kenai. We are thrilled over each of these opportunities, and we are so thankful for what the Lord has done! We can’t wait to revisit, serve and fellowship with each of these churches in the future!

3, God gave us 8 more events since our last letter! 8 more for 2020 taking the total to 33 events in 2020…Praise the Lord— we can’t wait to see how the Lord will continue to fill our schedule for His glory as there are other ministry opportunities in the making!
Please pray for these requests for our Alaska Ministry:
1. February 2nd and February 5th - Valley Baptist - Palmer, AK
2. February 16th - Victory Baptist - New Millford, IL
3. February 23rd - Crossroads Baptist - Peoria, IL
4. 2020 schedule to continue to grow for God’s glory, according to His will!
5. We head back to Illinois on February 7th. Please lift up our strength and health for these flights. We will technically be “traveling” around 24 hours with car rides and two flights.
AS ALWAYS please continue to pray for souls to be saved and revival to be stirred wherever the Lord leads us … WE LOVE YOU!

  SEPTEMBER UPDATE  May the Lord give revival and souls saved. Thank you for your prayers. Print This Update September 15th, 2025  Dear Family and Friends, Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches. 2 Corinthians 11:28 We can’t relate to many of the afflictions that Paul experienced, but we can relate to “the care of all the churches” toward us in our need. Thank you for caring for our family so well. We worked through health struggles, and were blessed to serve the Lord in Wisconsin and twice in Kansas in August. Each Sunday and each revival service was greatly blessed, along with the opportunity to officiate a very sweet wedding. We are thanking the Lord for His help in each of these services, for without Him we can do nothing. No Food Or Water Until...

  June 19th, 2025  (8:15pm Alaska Time) No food or water until tomorrow after surgery…the SURGERY is on! I arrive at the surgery center tomorrow at 11:45am Alaska time.  Some have said, “It’ll feel like someone hit you in the nose with a sledge hammer. But you’ll be so grateful after a few days to have had it done.” So in preparation for surgery, I had Rachel grab a sledge hammer and proceed to … no, no we didn’t prepare that way, but we have made other preparations physically, and I’m currently excited about tomorrow. (Ask me tomorrow night how excited I am about it.) 😉 Praise the Lord for the provisions to move forward with this surgery, and praise the Lord for everything coming together so quickly. We truly hope this cures whatever I’ve been facing…either way, it’s a good first step. 👍🏼 We are grateful for all the love, prayers and extra gifts.   Visit Our YouTube Channel Print This Update June 9th, 2025 A Heart For Revival’s Ministry Update Current Support Level: 44.6% We have placed two beautiful pictures of Alaska in this email.  A couple fun facts about our Alaska trip: our average day time temperature since our arrival has been 48 degrees. As of June 9th, sunrise is at 4:14am and sunset is at 11:37pm, but it never gets fully dark in-between those hours. TO EVERY THING THERE IS A SEASON Ecclesiastes 3:1 “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” Every thing has a season. Every thing has a purpose. Praise the Lord for His divine order in every thing. With that said, each of us gains a renewed trust and deeper faith in the goodness of God in every thing.
