REJOICE POINTS FOR NOVEMBER 2022

LYDIA:

  • Trampoline Park: Lydia earned an indoor trampoline park day with her Illinois cousins due to finishing a goal chart on character qualities such as responsibility and initiative. It’s neat to reward Lydia for a job well done! 
  • Alaska For Thanksgiving: Lydia enjoyed visiting her Alaska cousins and family for thanksgiving. She was able to get in many opportunities to homeschool and play with her cousins.

RACHEL:

  • New CD Start Up: Rachel has desired to make a new cd for some time. We currently have 1/3 of the cost set aside. Rachel is putting together a list of songs to record for this endeavor. We will share more about this in future updates.
  • Grandpa’s Memorial Service: While in Alaska, we were grateful to be able to be gather with extended family to honor Rachel’s Grandpa.

JUSTYN:

  • Weekly Devotionals: Aside from the revival schedule, Justyn is currently teaching through Psalms on Mondays, the Gospels on Wednesdays, and 1 Kings on Fridays. If you could use encouragement from the Scriptures, you can find these simple, 10-15 minute video challenges on our YouTube channel: Justyn Smith With A Heart For Revival.

MEETINGS:

We were blessed to hold a Sunday-Thursday Thanksgiving Revival in Houston, Alaska with Mid Valley Independent Baptist Church. We were blessed with great fellowship, a sweet spirit and the understanding of how the music and preaching were so timely and encouraging. To God be all the glory! This church needs to find a new place to meet. Would you pray with us for a facility to open up for them to rent? In the present time, they will gather at the Pastor’s home.

We were also blessed to preach at Manna Baptist in Palmer, Alaska during our Thanksgiving trip. It was a blessing to catch up with everyone at Manna. Our prayers are with Manna as they continue for the glory of God!

We also praise the Lord for providing 1 new event to our 2023 calendar since our last newsletter. If our family can be of assistance, please be sure to reach out in advance as our schedule continues to fill up according to God’s leading and allowance.


SUPPORT STATUS AND ADDITIONAL GIFTS:

Our current support level is at 61%. This is a 0% increase from last month. God continues to reveal how great a provider He is through the thoughtful “extra” gifts of a few individuals. WE MUST SAY “THANK YOU” again for being sensitive to give to help us go for the glory of God. Please pray that God would continue to lay A Heart For Revival Ministries upon individuals and church’s hearts so that we can see greater support levels come in to aid in the work of the ministry.

A Surprise Alaska Trip

A somewhat last minute trip to Alaska came up and we jumped on the opportunity. This whole trip was designed to surprise a youth pastor in Fairbanks, Alaska for faithfully serving for 20 years as a youth pastor. My girls couldn’t go due to how fast the trip and turn around times were, but it was a blessing to get to visit Alaska again so soon. HAPPY NEW YEAR! Let’s purpose to delight in God and be a light for God in 2023. This newsletter is simple and to the point. We were blessed with 4 “NEW TO US" churches.  This means we had the tremendous blessing of continuing to build relationships by revisiting 30 churches. We want to express our gratitude for each new pastor and each reoccurring pastor that allowed us to visit their churches and minister to their church families. Thank you! These are people that I can't live without. I want to be a person that others can't live without, and the reason why God blesses other people. Think deeply about the following verse: And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes,  tarry: for  I have learned by experience that the LORD hath blessed me for thy sake.  Genesis 30:27 Isn't this statement amazing!?
