2019 Ministry Highlights || Special Ministry Report

Dear Friends and Family,
As we begin our 2 year in the full time traveling ministry, let's take a look back at 2019 - A Heart For Revival Ministries, Inc The Lord led in the establishment of this ministry just before the 2019 new year.

          2019 IN 3 WORDS:

  • Foundational - From the legal needs of our day...to study prep, from moving homes...to God's Spirit moving in lives, God has laid a foundation for this ministry to flourish. We fully believe this!

  • Momentum - Early 2019 passed by somewhat slowly as we practiced following the Lord through diligent seeking. As 2019 progressed, God started opening door after door, thus, meeting after meeting. By the time May hit, our schedule filled with a pace that gave sufficient rest and plenty of ministry opportunities. As 2019 came to a close, the ministry was in full gear which is presently catapulting us into our 2020 schedule "hitting the ground running" for the Master. The 2020 schedule isn't "full" yet by any means, but we trust God will continue to "fill" the schedule according to His perfect will. We are excited for the momentum that has picked up in this ministry!

  • Encouraging - We are wonderfully blessed to have soooo many people who hold us in prayer, who support our ministry financially, who write us, challenge us and schedule us! It's been awesome to preach and sing for many pastors and churches we were with in E1 (Evangelism the first time), and It's been a tremendous blessing to preach and sing in so many "new to us" churches in E2! We are especially grateful for every pastor who scheduled us multiple times in 2019 and for those who have scheduled us for years to come. God bless you!

    2019 MINISTRY HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Meetings - We are thankful for every church and camp we were with for the purpose of stirring souls to revival and salvation! We had no clue how the Lord was going to fill the schedule, but He blessed with 58 different events - revivals, camps, chapels, Sunday/midweek services, conferences, youth rallies and even a daily Christmas Cantata that lasted a week! We were blessed to serve in Missouri (1), Kentucky (1), Kansas (1), Michigan (1), North Carolina (1), Wisconsin (3), Indiana (4), Alaska (14), Illinois (32)! We absolutely loved every opportunity to jump in and serve alongside each of these churches and camps. We had tremendous visitation, counseling and fellowship opportunities. We are excited for the fruit that remains and the fruit that is yet to come through the sowing of 2019! Thank you, again, to every pastor and camp director!

  • Support - As we exit 2019, The Lord has blessed A Heart For Revival Ministries with $640 of consistent monthly support. We are extremely thankful for every gift and giver whether it's monthly support or a one time donation. Every giver has helped to lighten the load of this itinerant ministry...many of you know how expense traveling can be, but where God guides, God provides!

  • Home - The Lord allowed us to rent our home to the new Pastor of Crossroads Baptist Church. We have the privilege of staying in the Missions House at Princeville Baptist Church (our current sending church) when we are in our home area. This is the home Rachel and I started our marriage in - how awesome is that?!

  • Rhoda - Our 2005 Toyota Prius hit 360,000 exactly on the first Sunday of December as we pulled into Calvary Baptist Church in Branson, MO! We are praying for Rhoda's longevity, but we don't trust in this car-we trust in the LORD who made heaven and earth. Therefore, in wisdom and with God's provision, we have started a future car fund! We are excited to see what God does!

The last pastor we were with in 2019 gave us extremely encouraging words. "Before too long you'll be like Bro. Sommerdorf (a well known Evangelist from Alaska)-scheduling two years out in advance...at least." We don't deserve these kind words, but we do cherish them and long for God to fill our schedule only according to His perfect will and for His glory! The same Pastor asked us to send him a picture of our prayer card so he can add our ministry to their vote for "new missionaries to be supported." This happens in January of 2020. His desire for our prayer card is catapulting us in 2020 with even more excitement and encouragement! GOD IS SO GOOD!

    A QUICK LOOK AT 2020:

We are already gearing up for and praying for the 25 scheduled meetings in 2020, and asking God for more as He sees fit! As the Lord allows, we already have plans to minister in Alaska (back up 2 more times in 2020), Illinois, Missouri, Michigan, Wisconsin, New Hampshire and Indiana. We hope to see you at some point during these trips.
Please pray with us for souls to be saved and saints to be revived! God bless you and thank you for
    reading!!!

Until the Shout and For God's Glory, Justyn, Rachel and Lydia Smith
