Dear Friends and Family, As we begin our 2 year in the full time traveling ministry, let's take a look back at 2019 - A Heart For Revival Ministries, Inc The Lord led in the establishment of this ministry just before the 2019 new year.            2019 IN 3 WORDS: Foundational - From the legal needs of our day...to study prep, from moving homes...to God's Spirit moving in lives, God has laid a foundation for this ministry to flourish. We fully believe this! Momentum - Early 2019 passed by somewhat slowly as we practiced following the Lord through diligent seeking. As 2019 progressed, God started opening door after door, thus, meeting after meeting. By the time May hit, our schedule filled with a pace that gave sufficient rest and plenty of ministry opportunities. As 2019 came to a close, the ministry was in full gear which is presently catapulting us into our 2020 schedule "hitting the ground running" for the Master. The 2020 schedule isn't "full" yet by ...

  Christmas shouldn't pass by without you purposing to pause to MARVEL over the Saviour's birth! The Old Testament in the Bible prophesied many times of the CHRIST coming as a child - born of a virgin - born of the Jews - born to die - born to set people free from their sins. Isaiah 9:6 (pictured above) is one of those verses. Yet, some in Jesus' day missed the coming of the Messiah entirely! I wonder if we'll miss Christ at all this Christmas? Fortunately, the Bible gives us a few accounts of people marveling over Jesus Christ to serve as reminders of how wonderful and awesome Jesus Christ was, is and always will be! (Listen to the sermon for more on that.) Now, here's the definition of MARVEL: To MARVEL is to admire, to wonder and to stand in awe of something. The Shepherds, Mary and Joseph, Simeon, and Anna are just a few Bible characters who marveled at the Saviour on or shortly after the birth of Jesus Christ.   4am Alaska ... Sometimes it’s hard to shift gears with a three hour time change...even though it’s already been two weeks in the cold and darkness! 😊 It’s an awesome morning to rejoice in the goodness of the Lord, for He blessed with a wonderful start to our Alaska ministry! It’s certainly been busy but blessed. We’ve been able to mix in good family time with the busy ministry schedule and even throw in some Refuge CrossFit workouts in Palmer (looking forward to today’s). In the meantime, it’s prep time for this coming Sunday at Manna Baptist in Palmer (ironing, study/prayer,etc). I awoke to an email from a sweet lady of Manna eagerly anticipating this coming Sunday-this encouraged me in prayer and prep even more-Hallelujah! Be sure to MARVEL over the Christ today! Revive Your Bible Study This Christmas - Pt 2 This simple blog encourages the reader, you, to have PURPOSE in Bible Study. To simply read is great, but studying to ”take away” some nugget of truth is far better! Bible Study equips and encourages, grows and gains, and strengthens and satisfies the inner person of the disciple. Simply put, disciples are students, but are we the type of student just “making it through class,” or are we growing and learning by leaps and bounds to live life for the Lord? Let me give you 3 simple ways you can PURPOSE to get more out of your Bible Study in the future: I. PURPOSE to be specific in Bible Study. This certainly doesn’t negate those random times God speaks to you from random verses here and there, but random reception of God’s Word shouldn’t be the norm. Dear Family and Friends... The Work of our December ministry was exciting and extremely blessed by the Lord!  Our hearts are full, and we are marveling over our Saviour's birth! We are rejoicing over so many things to report...first, thank you for your faithful prayers, love and support. NOTES:  We ARE CURRENTLY in Alaska visiting family and ministering the Word of God through the first week of February. Please take note that any support sent by mail may take a little longer to be deposited. Also, our envelopes need to be reprinted due to an old address on them. If you don’t know it already, please take note of the new address for correspondence on our website. We will attempt to produce an annual “report” newsletter after the first of the year, but this may not be accomplished until we return from Alaska the first part of February. We shall see! Revive Your Bible Study This Christmas - Pt 1 This simple blog reveals the number one reason why you get nothing from the Bible. In fact, when I reveal the number one reason why you get nothing from the Bible, you may take the “smack your forehead” 🤦🏻‍♂️ emoji and make it a literal action by smacking your own forehead. I‘m actually curious if this number one reason is prevalent in your life, because it sure can be in mine. So, why do WE get nothing from the Bible? First, let me stress one purpose of God’s Word...
