Decide. Commit. Glorify. 2016

 


It begins!
A few days ago, my wife attended a baby shower. While she was there, God gave me the wonderful idea how to reveal a new year’s resolution commitment from me which was directed mainly to the Lord and my wife.
A dozen roses would capture her attention.
A poem would be typed out revealing my desire to love the Lord and my wife with renewed zeal.
That poem would then break into Spiritual, Physical, and Relational decisions to commit to in 2016, and these commitments would ultimately seek the end result of the glorification of the Lord Jesus Christ.
To top it off, covering the letter of my desires for 2016, the statement, “Justyn’s UnReal Quest,” would drive home the overall purpose of the scene by utilizing some organic peanut butter cups and a health bar (which is pretty fitting for us right now). Did you notice the picture attached?
The plan to surprise and establish these goals for 2016 was executed perfectly, all glory to God, and now the only thing left to happen is a full follow through to the decisions made!

Now I challenged you: Decide. Commit. Glorify. In 2016
I know that new year’s resolutions are silly to some, but, I want to remind you, “If you aim at nothing, you will miss every time.” 
I don’t want you to miss…for God, that is.
May our decisions and commitments glorify God this year. May He be the one we rejoice in, and not ourselves or our goals. May He be ever in our thoughts as we seek to put Him first in 2016.

A Surprise Alaska Trip

A somewhat last minute trip to Alaska came up and we jumped on the opportunity. This whole trip was designed to surprise a youth pastor in Fairbanks, Alaska for faithfully serving for 20 years as a youth pastor. We were blessed with 4 “NEW TO US" churches.  This means we had the tremendous blessing of continuing to build relationships by revisiting 30 churches. An Audio Witness

  An Audio Witness Attention Pastors, Evangelists, and Teachers of the Word! Start being an  audio witness  of what God has engraved within your heart! It's easy, and It doesn't take much time to establish. On average, I typically spend 1/2 an hour a day/6 days a week establishing my daily audio witness called  "The Preacher's Push."  This name was birthed in my mind and heart during evangelism. However, it's influence never came into full swing until this past year. The reason I am posting this blog is to simply show others (who have inquired) how I do what I do that they may establish a similar setup to "exhort one another daily" from the Word of God!
