  Decide. Commit. Glorify. 2016 It begins! A few days ago, my wife attended a baby shower. While she was there, God gave me the wonderful idea how to reveal a new year’s resolution commitment from me which was directed mainly to the Lord and my wife. A dozen roses would capture her attention. A poem would be typed out revealing my desire to love the Lord and my wife with renewed zeal. That poem would then break into Spiritual, Physical, and Relational decisions to commit to in 2016, and these commitments would ultimately seek the end result of the glorification of the Lord Jesus Christ. To top it off, covering the letter of my desires for 2016, the statement, “Justyn’s UnReal Quest,” would drive home the overall purpose of the scene by utilizing some organic peanut butter cups and a health bar (which is pretty fitting for us right now). Last night was exceptionally wonderful with the sweet singing of the saints, a great missions challenge by Missionary Frost (to New Zealand), three uplifting specials, updates from Missionaries around the world, and an excellent revival message by Evangelist Steve Hart! We are anticipating, by the grace of God, that tonight will be lined with the same thread of sweetness!  Please continue to pray with us for the great and mighty things of God, and we hope to see you and yours at tonight’s meeting!   The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year! The most wonderful time of the year can be even better with a surrendered and submissive heart to and for the Lord Jesus Christ!   May this most wonderful time of the year be centered around our wonderful Saviour, and let’s purpose to make sure He is the center of our joy and the reason why we sing, attend church, worship, preach, invite others to church, give gifts, help others, etc! As Pastor, I’m so thankful and privileged to be Pastoring Crossroads Baptist Church during another Christmas Season. I’m praying that I’ll lead and feed the flock of God the way God would have it to be led and fed - in accordance with His Holy Word! Let’s freely worship Christ this Christmas, for we may not have such freedoms next year!  This time of the year is wonderful, because Christ is wonderful!   Finish Line 2015 5K Our 5K path is marked and ready for Gospel Missions runners/walkers!!!! We’re praying for and great 5K today at Crossroads Baptist Church! Event begins in an hour at 10am CST. Please pray with us as we kick off our Gospel missions week with this 5K entitled, “Around Our World,” and then join us for our missions revival beginning Sunday entitled, “Christmas Around the World,” with the Evangelist Steve Hart Family, the Evangelist Lynn Potts Family, and the Missionary Devin Frost Family!   2015 5K Around Our World Invite Spread the Word, and please join us for our “Around Our World 5K” as we run/walk for Gospel missions! The event is this Saturday, December 5th at 10am. We will be gathering at the church, and the 5K will take place in our church’s neighborhood. This is our first time holding a 5K, and we are excited about it! The cost is $15 per runner/walker (unless you are a cheerleader through our church’s missions run month-then this event is at no cost to you), and all the money goes to Gospel missions! No matter your skill level, we desire your participation…you’ll be running or walking (or both😉) for a good cause.  There will be protein snacks and good drinks available at the finish line, take home gifts for each participant, and a prize for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners!
